Osho, alias Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, the Indian con-man who for several decades was India's most notorious and wealthiest guru until his death from AIDS attracted the best and brightest Westerners to his ashram in Pune, India. His discourses were published in over one hundred books and the video recordings of these discourses were widely circulated. He marketed himself as the world's leading Tantric sex guru and claimed to have established the Tantric expressway to enlightenment. Following several exposes of his deceipt in selling himself as an enlightened guru who had tranascended sexual needs, it became clear that he regularly sexually abused over 1000 of his female disciples whom he invited to early morning private one-to-one sessions in his marble palace and, after claiming to be rebalancing their chakras or some such esoteric garbage, subjected them to what they derisorily described as a "two-minute sad fuck". Osho's death from AIDS surprised nobody as he only had unprotected sex and his body was burnt within six hours of his death to prevent an autopsy being conducted which would have proved his death was AIDS-related.
