Muhammad - the legitimisation of assassination
and terrorism in his time
The following articles taken from www.answering-islam.org
indicate and illustrate, from the earliest contemporaneous sources
in Islamic history, the direct involvement in assassination and
terrorism legitimised by Muhammad himself, taken from unimpeachable
Muslim historic records accepted by Islamic historians as true records
of Muhammad's actions. They make shocking and distressing reading
for those nourished on the myths and legends of prophets and messiahs
being loving, compassionate and non-violent human beings, but in
Muhammad's case the following articles indicate a seamless segue
from his own actions, activities and teachings to the horrors of
9/11, Bali and Madrid in our own time.

The Killing of Sallam
Ibn Abu'l-Huqayq
|
| While Muhammad lived in Medina he grew
in power. There were a number of Jews that oppossed him. Muhammad
asked several of his followers to murder a number of these Jews. One
of them was Ka`b bin al-Ashraf. This paper deals with Ka`b's murder.
|
|
When the fight at the trench and the affair
of the B. Qurayza were over, the matter of Sallam b. Abu'l-Huqayq
known as Abu Rafi` came up in connexion with those who had collected
the mixed tribes together against the apostle. |

The Murder of Abu `Afak |
| This article was
based on very incomplete information. It rightfully received a Muslim
response which however was not giving all the sources either. We will
at some time rework this article in the light of this further information. |
|
This paper deals with
Muhammad's request to have his men murder a Jewish man named Abu
Afak. Abu Afak was a 120 year old man. Afak's crime: he urged his
fellow Medinans to leave Muhammad. |

|
The Death of `Asma' Bint Marwan
|
|
Muhammad And The
Ten Meccans |
| In Yathrib (Medina), Muhammad had a number
of people killed. One of them was `Asma' bint Marwan. Her
crime was that she spoke out against Muhammad for having another
man murdered named Abu Afak. |
|
As Muhammad grew in
power, he began to use violence to obtain his desires. He ordered
the murder of many people. He himself did not go out and commit the
murders; he had men who were willing to do his killing for him. |

What really happened to the Banu Qurayza
|
|
Muhammad and the death of Kinana |
| This is one of the darkest
chapters in early Muslim history and it is also one of the most
complicated. The sources are partially conflicting and embellished
by later traditions which have obscured what really happened. |
|
One of Muhammad's most brutal acts involved
a prisoner named Kinana. Kinana was one of the leaders of Khaibar.
Muhammad wanted him to reveal where some buried treasure was hidden.
Kinana refused. Muhammad had him tortured to
the point of death, then had him beheaded. |

African Islamic homophobia
Out of Africa comes extreme homophobia, limited not just
to Christianity but finding some of its most extreme expression in Islam,
as the following articles show. So vested is Islamic law (Sharia) in not
only homophobia, but misogyny, that Miss World 2002 had to relocate from
Islamic Nigeria where an unmarried woman, who had become pregnant as a
result of being raped, was condemned to death by stoning for her "sin",
and 200 Nigerians massacred in the riots that followed this sentence.
A BBC TV documentary broadcast on the events captured the fear and loathing
which forced the contestants to flee Nigeria, following international
pressure being brought on the recalcitrant Miss World organisation to
relocate. Images of terrified potential Miss Worlds filled our screens
as the shell-shocked beauties fled just ahead of their potential assassins.

Al
Fatiha - a network for gay Muslims
Al Fatiha bravely asserts the possibility of
being both Muslim and gay (LBGTIQ) despite the fact that the
source of Islam, the Koran and Hadiths, make this an impossibility.

fact, read their mission statement

The trouble with Islam today
is that it's still stuck in the 7th Century Arabian blood-soaked
desert
An introduction to the issues of the ir/reconcibility
of Islam with democracy and human rights, including homosexuality,
or more correctly desert Islam - as author Irshad Manji refers
to the fundamentalist strain of Islam dominant in the Muslim
world - is contained in her brilliant, scathing and well-researched
book 'The trouble with Islam'. Lesbian Ugandan Asian Muslim
Manji, now a naturalised Canadian journalist and TV producer,
deconstructs modern Islam, showing it to be entirely unevolved
from the primitive 7th century tribal feudal Islam of the violent
and blood-soaked Arabian deserts. The book contains a brief
but stunningly accurate dissection of the Palestinian-Israeli
conflict and unexpectedly points the finger of blame squarely
at the Arab Muslim nations, in a masterly expose of their deceptions
and intrigues which the liberal Western media have covered up
in their anti-Semitic drive. You owe it to the future of democracy
and human rights to read this book.

Daniel Pipes - articles by and about
Who
is Daniel Pipes? Pipes is a former professor at the U.S. Naval War College.
He has taught history and Islamic studies at Harvard and the University
of Chicago. He is a scholar and the author of 12 books, four of which
are on Islam. Unlike most of the complacent and clueless Middle East academic
establishment, which specializes in the brotherhood of man and the perfidy
of the United States, Pipes has for years been warning that the radical
element within Islam posed a serious and growing threat to the United
States.
