Your views sadden me. profoundly. You claim to be pro-freedom and against repression and violence, but your vehemently pro-Israel stance ignores the monumental suffering of the Palestinian PEOPLE. Yes they are human as well. By the way the Islamic rules on jihad are a little like this:

1) viable measures MUST be taken to avoid the death of innocents, regardless of whether they are believers or not.
2) Soldiers are legitimate targets as they are clearly marked by uniforms, making them distinct exponents of war.(The above two can be found in any 'western' document regarding war conduct)
3) He who kills a fellow believer will go to hell. Bin Laden killed so many Muslims on 9/11, and didn't think twice about it. Open your eyes, he is a western lackey, created to drive a wedge between Islam and the West, and just loo k how successful he's been. He's even managed to cause problems between Muslims. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. If he did he'd be flying his rich-boy ass into buildings himself, rather than sending misguided men to their deaths.

And please wake up... the West isn't such a nice place. We enjoy our wealth and freedom at the cost of others. While you sit eating your big mac with fries, we are letting thousands of Africans die every single day of PREVENTABLE diseases. Disease we have the power to cure and eliminate for ever. And what about drug companies hiking up the prices on Aids drugs, and making them too pricey for the poor Africans to buy. Big pharmacuetical companies were recently forced to lower prices by a court in South Africa, because their obsession with the bottom line was costing innocent lives by the thousand.

Capitalism is a hierarchical system, which means in order for there to be a rich, there MUST be a poor. ;I refer you to the basic economical problem which all students of economics are taught. Demand is infinite but supply is LIMITED. Basically there ain't enough to go around and so we in the West are gonna have it all!

'Capitalism/'Western freedom' also means that men sell their souls to the devil. The 3 biggest economies are...(1) Oil (2) Arms (3)Drugs, all of which bring misery upon us all. You look at the second one now... we take it for granted that our leaders sell objects DESIGNED TO KILL, as a way of raising money, to all comers from despotic African leaders to Islamic militants, to our own 'respectable' allies. BAE systems trades as a respectable business on the stock market, but they sell guns and bombs and mines and tanks and warplanes and ships. And whose hands do these end up in? Who knows & who cares. The highest bidder wins. as long as they get their money they don't care who gets killed as a consequence of their actions, as long as they ar en't Westerners, because after all we can't be killing our loyal consumers can we... which brings me back to 9/11.

What happened was a tragedy, no doubt, no question, it was horrific. just under three thousand people were killed.But did you know that on that day, on September 11 2001, three thousand African childen died of malaria. On only one day, as a result of only one of many diseases which afflict misery on Africa. the same number of children died. Not adults, but children. and did you know that the same number died the next day, and the next and the next. and even more died of Aids, rickets, hepatitis, gout, scurvy, starvation, dehydration, the list is endless.

But do you care? No. because it isn't constantly rammed down your throat by the media.

Do I care? Yes. It hurts me to think about how lucky I am to be given everything I have by Almighty God.

Do I do anything about it though? No. I won't pretend to get all moral and self-righteous because we all share in the guilt of living our easy lives while the world burns. Buying one Band Aid single doesn't alleviate our guilt either.You have really got to rid yourself of this myth that the West is this vast land of goodness and morality, because it isn't. We are guilty of heinous crimes. We sit here on our pc's, mobile phones and i-pods, while millions go without the very basics that a human needs. Clean water, bread, shelter,
health care.

Sort yourself out. Read a bible. Or koran. Or torah. Or Kama Sutra. Or Bridget Jones' diary.

And stop being so gay about everything. There are bigger evils in the world than homophobia. Just the other day some guy i know did 34 in a 30 zone. and yesterday my cat peed on the carpet. And i forgot to put the key under the bin for my brother last night and he had to climb over the gate and com e in through the back. All of these things make me more upset than homophobia does. The only people who give a damn about it are gays. Stop kidding yourself, you won't get millions of students and well to do middle class people stomping the streets to further homo rights, like they did when Nelson Mandela (a real sufferer) was in jail. or when millions turned out to oppose the war.

You see, no one cares. sodomy is no longer illegal, social attitudes have softened and we''ve all become more accepting of queens, so why keep going on about it?

Focus on real and important issues not your irrelevant stupidities. People die during every minute you waste.
