Richmond Council vs Gays & Lesbians

re: Cranfield-Adams

Dear Cllr Dance

Your colleague Cllr Cranfield-Adams has made the claim, in his letter to Richmond & Twickenham Times dated 12 March, that there was a campaign to have you "hung, drawn and quartered" conducted by "some in the gay community" in Richmond who were "vindictive and spiteful".

As you are by now probably aware, I shall be challenging this statement as untrue and unjustified in my question tabled to be asked at the full council meeting on 20 April, but am writing to you in advance to ask if indeed you have any evidence that this campaign exists and has been conducted against you.

If you are able to provide me with such evidence I shall immediately take action on your behalf, particularly in my role as member of Richmond's Police Community Consultative Group (PCCG), but it is my understanding that Cllr Cranfield-Adams has entirely invented this campaign for unknown and undeclared purposes.

I understand you were "advised" not to attend the full council meeting held on 2 March but hope that you will not be prevented from attending the 20 April meeting.

I look forward to hearing from you, either with the aforementioned evidence or in support of its non-existence.

Yours sincerely
